The Active Trac system is the worldwide first proactive and learn- ing stability control system. By using a highly sophisticated Artificial Neural Network (ANN), developed and optimized exclusively by Soft- bionics, this new technology is once again a remarkable milestone of ingenious engineering.
In contrast to all other traction control systems available, which are based on preprogrammed internal knowledge and reactive processing circuits, the Active Trac system is designed to process also data gained with the other Active Sensors like the Active Camera in a proactive way, while moving a vehicle.
The utilization of the Active Trac system is not limited by dynamic stability systems and the interplay with for example our Active Suspension system and Active Differentials, but can also be used for other tasks like a track and lane departure assistant as well as an anti-collision system that uses the same actuators.
Learning by Doing - Learning by Driving
Another unbelievable new and pathbreaking feature is the Learning by Driving modus, that shows the uncomparable advantages of our Active Components technology. By the modular integration of all Active Sensors and Active Sensor Networks into one system and the application of an AutoBrain, which is based on and powered by the Hightech Operating System OntoLix with the AutoSemantic ::Car package, the Active Trac system learns while the vehicle is in motion or even while it is standing by for example analyzing live broadcasts or videos, playing racing simulations, or downloading special data out of the World Wide Web.
