New Year 2009
The SOS team wishs you a happy new year.

02.January.2009
Investigations::Car #70

  • Fiat→Ferrari: Its Special Projects Division sounds some kind of familiar, but this doesn't matter anymore, because: Our expenses are compensated.
  • Pininfarina: First we learned a little bit of automotive design from that company, but in the last years it took together with customers, eg. the already convicted Glickenhaus, more unpublicated contents and concepts from us as we could see directly. We give a clear: Convicted! And thank you very much for the small compensation of our expenses with the B!.
  • Edo Competition: We're watching that company since some time, but the last project gave us the confidence: Together with a designer, who is also under investigation, the company made a project based on a Porsche→Volkswagen→Audi→Lamborghini.
  • 9ff: The rim design of the company looks like an unshown design from us of the year 2003.

    08.January.2009
    Announcement
    We canceled the Fiat Cinquecento based Speed•E™, because an other corporation has presented the concept earlier. Our business philosophy doesn't permit to jump on bandwagons and as the Hightech and Speed Competence™ we simply don't need such a disgusting behaviour. We really do apologize our mistake and are now strongly looking for an alternative base vehicle for our SOS Speed•E™.
    Actually we're looking since 2 months at the Porsche→Volkswagen→ Audi A2, which was shown as a fuel cell powered car with electric motor (Audi A2H2), but the A2 is not built anymore.

    Investigations::Car #71

  • B&B Automobiltechnik: The company came to the point of tuning the Volkswagen Eos. This sounds like our already canceled Eos R and BB, so this message is more for historical importance.
  • Mansory: On the Motorshow 2005 in Essen we tried to get in touch with that corporation. After the third trial at the stand we were allowed to ask our question:" Do you tune the Bugatti Veyron?" The answer was given by a very blond person in a very harsh way: "No!" That company is also using contents of our websites to sell its products.
    So it seems to be that we, the Speed Competence™, were first with concepts for tuning the Bugatti Veyron. Who else?. Btw.: Don't try to get in contact with that company if you are a normal human, because for it you are sh*t.

    Further steps
    We are looking at a design concept, which fits very well into our portfolio by its intention. Also, the concept shows nicely, how easily concepts like this are realizeable on the basis of our Chassis Module System™.

    As all of the other external design concepts it has to be overworked by us, the Style and Speed Competence™, as well.

    Investigations::Car #72

  • General: We have sighted many small but also large companies, which have taken informations and stolen concepts from our websites.
  • Gumpert: We quote: "[...] breathtaking [...]", "[...] rebel [...]", and "[...] street legal racing car [...]", as well as the repetition of the description of the "[...] air intake stub over the roof [...]". This behaviour shows, that that company finally is convicted and now in a dead end street.
  • Reuben Zammit: One of our little special "stealing everything what he sees" designer.

    Investigations::Car #73

  • Porsche→Volkswagen: The BlueSport concept clearly shows design elements from the SOS i!/j!, especially at the front, front lights, and side line with its "[...] circular wheel housings, flared out in three dimensions as in a sculpture". Take image 2, and image 1 and see how the company simply mixed them with its Concept R.

  • MillenWorks: The company has used contents from our websites.

    Investigations::AI, and Knowledge management

  • Ontoprise: The company is still stealing contents from our websites.
  • Deutsches Forschungsinstitut für Künstliche Intelligenz: The company is still stealing contents from our websites.
  • Porsche→Volkswagen→Audi: More and more it comes out, that Volkswagen with its subsidiary Audi is one of the central actor in the whole AI, and Knowledge management thread.
  • Achievo: The company has stolen and is still trying to steal our ontology based solutions. Btw.: It works together with Ontoprise for Audi.

    We do know, that there is a relation between the threads of Investigations::AI, and Knowledge management and Investigations::Car.

    Investigations::Car #74

  • Porsche→Volkswagen: The rims of the BlueSport concept are of the type of the ones from the Bee!. We also do quote: "Maximum driving fun [...]", and "[...] high level of technological fascination".

  • Red Bull→Speedweek: And once again has the Red Bull dude stolen something from our logos.

  • Porsche→Volkswagen→Seat: And once again we do have to quote: "[...] Raumfahrt-Programm [...]", "Aber weil es eben doch nicht nur auf die Größe ankommt, gibt es die Driver´s Edition [...]", and "Multifunktionslenkrad".

  • NASA: We quote for historical correctness and to shut inconve- nient media, instituts, and companies up: "Some of the new technologies to be developed include new batteries, new fuel cells, advanced regenerative brakes, and new tire technologies. These are the same technologies that are required for electric vehicles such as cars, tractors, and heavy equipment that the U.S. needs to reduce its dependency on fossil fuels.", and "[...] highly reliable and efficient electric vehicles on Earth".

  • Istituto Europeo di Design (→) European Design Labs: "Las Experiencias del Color, desde las Abstracciones hasta el Design", "3rd Edition", and much more.

    Investigations::Car #77

  • Gumpert: We once again do quote: "300", "[...] three years [...]", "[...] three years [...]", "Just three months [...]", "3.3", "30", "[...] petrol head [...]", "[...] beast [...]", "[...] 30 years [...]", "[...] street-legal [...]", "[...] masterpiece [...]", "[...] customized [...]", "[...] unlimited fun [...]", and so on.
    It is interesting to see, who pays 300.000 Euro for a car, which has had a start price of 100.000 Euro, and is worth only 150.000 Euro. It'll be also interesting to see what he will take for a new design.
    Btw.: The frame and other parts of the second BMX-bike by C.S. were made out of chromium molybdenum steel. And that was around 1983.
  • Motoren Technik Mayer: We quote: "[...] composition between several concepts of sportscars [...]", "[...] Synthese der Sport- wagenkonzepte darstellt und praktisch alle Vorzüge verschiedener Segmente in sich vereint [...]", and "[...] Fahrspaß pur [...]".
  • Ford: A quote: "[...] under 3 minutes [...]". And now, it also has some kind of Raptor and Raptor R.
    Another point is the still not functioning sync thing. May be it only was a marketing joke, but on the other side it is the result if a company puts Microsoft products into its autos. Ford and the others were warned.

    28.January.2009
    Website update
    We have added a new picture of the SEAMOS VTOL UAV on the Helicopter webpage.

    2. Webpage for the Raptor Speedster ESC.

    Investigations::Car #78

  • Porsche: In November 2008 spyshots of a Boxster Speedster with chopped and tilted A-pillar were publicated. There are also rumors about a Cayman RS/Clusport model. These explain all of its ignorance (in this respect compare our news from the 1st of May 2008, 24th of June 2008, 18th of July 2008, and also 6th and 22nd of August 2008). That is no surprise, if you look into the eyes and on the tip of the noses of some persons.
    Now we can give a more than clear: Convicted!!!™

    Further steps
    We're examining the applicability of the Friction Stir Welding process to manufacture super lightweight tanks for our classic concept of a Space Transportation System (STS) with Single-Stage-to-Orbit (SSTO) Reusable Launch Vehicle (RLV), the Next Generation (NG) Space Shuttle NG X-3033/ MagicStar. These super lightweight tanks could be an option to replace the composite LH2 (liquid hydrogen) tanks of the X-33/VentureStar concept.
    We're also examining the usage of the aluminium lithium alloy for the applicability in the automotive sector.
    Btw.: May be the X-30/NASP and the X-33/VentureStar were fantasy, but now they are becoming step by step reality.
