Due to the fact that in the beginning on one side in an Active Differ- ential #1 an electromechanically actuated multi-disk brake of the superimposed axle drive was used to electronically control and limit the slip, and on the other side the highly demanded requirement ex- isted to also apply a Brake Energy Recovery System for restoring energy that normally is wasted while braking a vehicle, we had the ingeniuos idea to replace the brakes in this version of a torque vec- toring differential with two electric motors, which can be used now for acceleration, braking, brake energy recovering and stabilization. The SuperArchitecture of our Active Differential was invented.
Active Differential #2 - The SuperArchitecture
With two electric Active Motors and our intelligent Active Sen- sors at each driven axle, as well as the intelligent Active Control Management System, which centrally controls all Active Components and is powered by the High-Tech Operating System OntoLinux, we have integrated the classical technologies of an Electric Drivetrain, a Torque Vectoring Differential, an Electronic Stability Control System and a Brake Energy Recovering System in one system. The many ingenious features of our Active Differential are based on the fact that it replaced Gears by Software while keeping all advantages of and full compatibility to best automotive engineering, which is not realizable with concepts based on any kind of wheel hub motors or other all-electric drivetrain configurations. Most to mention are in this conjunction that the unsprung mass is not heightened and that only minor changes are needed for every kind of automobile or truck to make it a Pure Electric vehicle. With our solution there are no barriers for acceptance and adoption.
Our innovation of the general concept of the Active Differential #2 is actually realized and available in the different versions that are:

The HyperArchitecture gives our Super Revolutionary concept the next amazing kick: It's essentially the Active Differential #2 - The SuperArchitecture realized with As-Wheel Active Motors. Especi- ally in conjunction with our hubless Stroetmann Wheel, which com- bines a linear motor and an active magnetic bearing, and in this way is even frictionless, our worldwide unique and absolutely fascinating new design language for motorcycles and automobiles is realizable with this jewel of ingenious engineering.
Simplistic Proof of Simplicity
Our Volkswagen→Audi→Lamborghini Gallardo based Elettoro shows how easy it is to convert a supercar into an Electric SuperCar with Purely Electric drivetrain on one side, but also how this system is elegantly appliable with other vehicles.
