eVSG™/eLSG™ - The Original
   
 

The eLSG@Car™ solution uses our electronic Laminated Safety Glass™ (eLSG™) for vehicles of every kind. Ideally, the eLSG can be used for windshields, side and rear window displays, and also glass cockpits. eLSG@Car™ together with our e-door@Car™ provide the foundations for the creation of very harmonic overall concepts.

Functionalities
Our eLSG@Car solutions can have many features like for example:

  • multimodal user interfaces with e.g.
    • touch sensitivity,
    • voice control,
    • gesture control, and
    • tactile/haptic feedback,
  • camera functions with e.g.
    • focusing,
    • zooming,
    • rendering virtual lenses by software algorithms, and
    • recording,
    and also
  • more multimedia approaches, specifically
    • augmented reality,

    Multimedia Applications
    The eLSG is perfectly suited for multimedia applications of all kind. In the case of a windshield it can be used for the construction of Ad- vanced Head-Up Display (AHUD) with 2D, True 3D™ comformal and Pure 3D™ imaging, based for example on our Holonicle@Car™ display technologies. With the addition of our Space@Car™ technology, that comprises Augemented Reality (AR), Mixed Reality (MR), and touch and gesture sensitivity by our MobileKinetic™ technology, the HUDs can be extended to our further solutions HUD Plus™, HUD AR™, and HUD MR™ by our Active Windscreen™ technology. Our eLSG™ and Space@Car ™technologies also offer the same functionalities for side windows and in this way lay the foundations for applications like:

  • real Active Rear-view Mirrors,
  • Virtual Rear-view Mirrors,
  • surfing in the World Wide Web,
  • music streaming,
  • messaging,
  • virtual window steam finger drawing,
  • environment and travel conditions responsive animations,
  • collaborative window view exchange, and
  • much more.
