Our technical solution of the Distributed Engine (Network) or Grid Engine integrates:
standard combustion engines without or with cylinder deactiva- tion, like our
electric motors, like our
and
differentials, like our
- Active Differentials, specifically our
and
- Limited Slip Differential (LSD), including
- Viscous LSD (VLSD) and
- electronically controlled LSD (eLSD),
by connecting the different engine sections or/and engines, which need not to be homogeneous, in a distributed way with:
clutches, including
- friction clutch,
- fluid coupling (lock-up) clutch, including
- (hydro)viscous fluid clutch respectively (hydro)viscous fluid coupling or viscous coupling and
- hydraulic clutch respectively hydraulic coupling, and
- torque converter (lock-up) clutch, including
- (hydro)viscous torque converter,
- hydrodynamic torque converter, and
- electronically controlled torque converter,
and
- electromagnetic clutch,
transmission shafts and further drive shafts, or
by wire,
as used with for example all kinds of all-wheel drivetrains.
